Conceived and written during "Black Deer" Festival of Country and Americana, in Eridge, Kent, UK, in June 2019, "Let's Break Up (While The Going's Good)" is a humourous, very simple C-F-G country-style song about a protagonist whose relationship is going so well, he posits that "from here on it, it can only do down hill". He therefore proses to his girlfriend: "Let's Break Up (While The Going's Good").
